Hello
I am a 22 year old Portuguese student (male) going to Oslo around 17 September (or maybe a bit later) and am quite interested in renting the room. I would like to know if the room is furnished, if bed and bath clothes are included? Are there any extra costs needed to be covered not included in the rent?
Also, would it be possible for you to send me some more photos of the room and house, cause if I rent it I won't have a chance to see it first cause I have no other place to stay in Oslo.
Is the apartment far from UiO? Is that the mapping application doesn't seem to work and so I have no idea where it stands in Oslo.
Also, could it be possible to consider a smaller value for the deposit, cause I will have to spend quite some money on travels and on my arriving in Oslo so that a smaller deposit would be really nice.
Despite I ask this, I am a safe payer as I will get a scholarship that will be more than enough to cover the monthly costs with the room rent.
About myself, I am quite outgoing, social, nice and available to help on the daily tasks for the good of the community.
I don't speak Norwegian but I am quite fluent in English.
I'll be waiting for your reply, thanks in advance,
Best regards
Paulo Santos
Hello!
This is no hotel so the room is unfurnished and you have to bring your own bath clothes. We don´t care what you think the apartment looks like, but we care who you are, so you HAVE to come by in order to move in.
The deposit is the size it is. If you want it to be smaller you can pay my rent for the rest of the year and we´ll be even steven. In addition to the rent you also have to pay cable-tv and internet access. This is approximately NOK 200 a month.
Thank you for your email and good luck on finding an apartment with bath clothes included and self chosen deposit-size. If you wish to do tasks for the good of the community try becoming a politician or a boy scout.
Best regards,
Erlend Ryvold
